Noise Damages Our Health
Anyone living in a big city is aware of the great amount of noise in them, day and night: traffic, horns, sirens, loud music, etc. This makes it increasingly difficult for urbanizes to enjoy the tranquility provided by silence and increasingly outweigh the pathologies caused by noise.
The level of noise or noise pollution has reached a point where even the World Health Organization has recognized that noise can cause those who are subjected to it on an ongoing symptoms such as restlessness, anxiety, anger, and even depression. The severity of these symptoms depends on the intensity of noise and noise type, and whether there are emotional factors associated with it by someone who suffers fear, helplessness, etc.
But the noise is not only able to provoke emotional disorders, but also can suffer headaches, hypertension, digestive problems and has been an increase in cardiovascular diseases in people subjected to high noise levels continuously. According to studies, when the noise exceeds 55 decibels, can cause changes in our hormonal and immune system, which carries the increased levels of glucose and cholesterol, as well as increased susceptibility to infectious diseases.
